Lovely little hotel, exceptionally clean and tidy. Big, airy and very comfortable bedroom with view on to the square below. Easy reach of the village and close to an Intermarche so we could get petrol close by.

It is the best place for visiting Illiers. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom unusually roomy. We appreciated the light fixtures that are more flexible than in most other places. The parking was perfect.

Excellent location near to motorway. Huge bathroom with walk in shower. Right by railway but no noise disturbance but handy for me, as a rail enthusiast, to see some trains. Excellent, friendly service.

It was excellent - we were spending a day in Illiers Combray to visit some sites, especially the Marcel Proust museum, and it was so close to the train station I did not believe it - but it was still on a lovely residential street. The host who checked us in was friendly and amusing, and the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was good - not fancy but very tasty and fresh.

Very helpful hosts who immediately accommodated us for dinner despite our later than expected arrival. Breakfast was also good.

nice little hotel. it’s right next to the railway station, but there are only two trains a day, so you don’t have to worry about being woken up! bedrooms modern and comfortable with nice sized bathrooms

Extremely friendly and helpful owners, lovely clean,comfortable room, newly decorated with excellent shower and toilet facilities. Very good evening meal and tasty breakfast. Would recommend.
